Workplace First Aid Training

We offer a variety of recognised cost effective First Aid at Work training courses on site to business and groups to suit a variety of purposes and requirements. Whatever your needs contact us to arrange booking your first aid training course.

Attending our first aid training courses can provide you with many important skills. Most importantly, you will gain the knowledge and confidence to respond to an emergency. We deliver both the Emergency First Aid at work (EFAW) and the First Aid at Work (FAW) to business across the Southwest of England. Our First Aid at Work courses meet all criteria set out by the Health and Safety Executive and in accordance with the Resuscitation Council guidelines on treatment and have been developed to support employers to meet their requirements under The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Understanding how to assess the scene and manage a casualty’s condition accordingly by providing initial treatment, such as administering CPR or using a defibrillator are the basics of first aid. These lifesaving skills are the bread and butter of workplace first aid courses.

First Aid at Work courses teach how to recognise signs and symptoms of serious illness and injury, as well as how to recognise and treat conditions such as airway obstructions, choking, bleeding, shock and fractures. You will also learn how to deal with emergencies such as electric shocks, heart attacks, burns and poisoning. Furthermore, you’ll become familiar with the principles of infection control so that you can minimise the risk of harm to yourself and others.
