This 16 hour (2 Day) first aid course provides outdoor instructors with the qualification required to keep NGB awards valid. Our 16 Hour Outdoor First Aid course Dorset is a highly practical first aid training course delivered by instructors with outdoor medical backgrounds, meaning they have had hands-on experience with a broad variety of emergency care situations, passing on the most current best practices to you.

This practical training course will develop participants confidence and skills for assessing and treating associated injuries and medical emergencies on water, rock & land necessary to stabilise a casualty until a rescue team arrive.

Outdoor First Aid Course and Paediatric certificate

We also cover Paediatric first aid for children through the 2 days training, therefore, we are able to include comprehensive paediatric assessments and provide the paediatric certificate to Forest School leaders, teachers, and childcare providers. This hands-on course satisfies the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. The certificate is valid for three-years.
