Our Outdoor First Aid Course in Princetown, Dartmoor is the run every month and provides outdoor instructors with the qualification required to keep NGB awards valid. 

Our 16 Hour Outdoor First Aid course will set you up with the knowledge and confidence to manage incidents ranging from bleeding, hypothermia and multiple casualty emergency in a remote location. We’ll deliver this first aid training in a fun and friendly atmosphere whilst providing as much realism as possible.

We also award the certificate for Paediatric First Aid which is a requirement by OFSTED for Early Years Foundation Stage requirements, in addition to the 16hr Outdoor First Aid certificate as many outdoor instructors and forest school practitioners also work in an Early Years school setting. All our first aid qualifications provide certificates which are valid for 3 years. CPR is taught in accordance with the current UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines.

The first aid course offered spans 16 hours and encompasses all essential modules required for National Governing Bodies such as the Mountain Leader Training, British Canoeing, British Cycling, British Association of Snowsport Instructors etc. This comprehensive program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. Completion of this course will not only enhance your confidence but also ensure you are well-prepared to provide aid when needed. Course content is based on current guidelines published by UK Resuscitation Council and from other advisory bodies.
